|The Yellow emperor's classic of Internal Medicine, 200BC|
|"To administer medicines to diseases that have already developed and supress revolts which have already deleloped is comparable to the behaviour of those persons who begin to dig a well after they have become thirsty, and of those who begin to cast wepons after they have already engaged in battle. Would these actions not be too late?"|
As I mentioned earlier, chiropractors believe, that disease is lack of health.
This is different from what most medical doctors might think because they often believe that disease is something separate from your general being and has to be hit hard with drugs and surgery in the hope that the disease will go away.
Unfortunately this approach often causes unnecessary damage to your system. We believe that improving your general health in all possible aspects will drive disease away by simply increasing your health.
There are easy steps on your way to perfect health but you need to know HOW to make these steps.
We will help you to make these steps if you decide that this is what you want to do:
I'm often asked by my patients and friends, how do I manage to see 60-80 patients a day and successfully manage this physical, emotional and mental stress.
They don't always know, that I also run my clinic business during my lunch hours and after hours staying alert from 6:30 AM till 11 or 12 PM. This includes lots of decision making intertwined with lots of paperwork, emailing, networking, web-designing, writing and learning. This includes gym 2-3 times a week, breakfast meetings on thursday mornings at 6:15 and driving back home to wales for weekends 3 hours each way. I'm an average bloke and don't have any special skills except those aquired through many years of learning.
Most of my "secrets" are described on this website. Everything based on common sense and common knowledge. I always say that small things make a big difference. My success made of "small things".
Where to start?
Diet and exercise? Very trivial but one of the most important parts of healthy living.
1. Food combining (proteins and carbs at separate meals and always with fresh non-starchy veg or salad). Low sugar and low carbohydrate diet. Not drinking cold or sweet drinks. Eating fruits before or instead of main meal. No artficial sweeteners, no preservatives, no pre-cooked food, no over-fried food. Rare alcohol and only before meal (not during or after meal)
